Southern Documentary Fund Production Grant Applications

Southern Documentary Fund is now accepting applications for its 2025 Production Grant, supporting documentary films currently in production by Southern filmmakers. This year, seven selected projects will each receive $15,000 in funding.
The deadline to apply is August 15, 2025.
 
 
SDF will also host two virtual info sessions to share grant details, eligibility criteria, and tips for a strong application:

  • Tuesday, August 13 at 1:00 PM EST
